Willow Creek is a hidden treasure that could be daylighted through Sausalito from Hwy. 101 to the Bay, including the school campus, corporation yard, and the dilapidated shipyard. To realize this vision of urban creek renewal, we need to employ a part time professional naturalist with local connections to be a steward of the existing creek restoration and school education work, and carry out the day-to-day administration of the nonprofit organization to enable the creek to serve the community in the near-term and long-term.
How will your money be used?
All funds go toward supporting professional naturalists to conduct community and school stewardship of Willow Creek, along with some incidental costs related to community creek event planning, native plants and debris removal, and maintenance of this website.
Become a “Creek Friend”: To become a member of “Friends of the Creek” we encourage you to email us at email@example.com and submit a monthly donation to the organization that fits your budget. While we suggest $25/month, even $1 a month helps to defray administrative costs. We can’t nurture and re-create the creek through town without your help! And of course, we look forward to working beside you at our community work party events such as Earth Day and Fall Work Party.
